This is really how they're treating one of the best-selling Light Novels. The animation still feels really off, wouldn't have been a problem if it was consistently just okay, but it is just really terrible at times. Otherwise, it was pretty okay-ish. Kushida's backstory kinda carried this episode, though it felt pretty over-the-top. At this point, I'm just hoping they don't rush the adaptation of V7, so they can fit certain scenes of V7.5 in this season.

Let's be honest here man, even if A-1/Madhouse or any prestigious studios working on this. They can't fit 5 volumes in a 12-episode anime. The whole thing must be changed especially changing this anime from 12 episode to 24 episode anime like DanMachi

  Yeah, probably, I don't really care about them skipping stuff as much anymore. Furthermore, Classroom of The Elite volumes are on the thicker side. It would defo need twenty-four episodes for a somewhat good adaptation. Though, I think it is near-impossible to make a perfect adaptation, because of how it is written.

  My guy what? Each season of danmachi was 13 episodes max. The problem is the studio budget and the fact that classroom of the elite is the adaptation. Unlike white fox they do not have 24 episodes like a quality adaptation like re zero or mushoku tensei they have 13 which means the budget will be a lot smaller leading to a crap episode like 5, decent episode like 2 that are outsourced to make up for the crap budget and good episodes like the rest bar episode 6 which was a 10/10 and episode 8 which is a 9.
  Classroom of the elite is a 10/10 novel a better read than many western novels which lots of dempth for the story and characters so adapting it properly even with 22 or 24 episodes would have been hard and its impossible with 13. Dislike the studio for being so lazy
  With 13 episodes and this measly budget i think its been a good season so far. The moments of shaky animation or just drawings is annoying but the episodes are still good overall.

The animation at some points felt so weird and junky. The episode was damn good tho. 9/10, weirdly enough i think that the kushida past scenes were better in the anime than the light novel.

Last episode I was really disappointed with the quality and the way the story was adapted, so this episode came as a pleasant surprise. Of course, there were some issues with the art and animations but it wasn't as bad as last episode to the point where it would distract you from the main story. I was able to look past that and enjoy the story.

Story wise, i'd say they adapted this portion of the LN pretty well. There were certainly some changes as compared to the LN but nothing that would significantly affect the story. Also I really enjoyed Kushida's backstory since they did a really good job adapting that, it was very impactful. Certainly one of the best moments for me so far this season.

Also it seems like they're giving this 3 (and possibly more) episodes as compared to last volume, the sports festival, which only got 2 eps (terrible idea btw, it was badly adapted). So that's pretty cool. Assuming they conclude this arc in the next ep, that would mean volume 7 gets 4 eps, which seems like more than what's needed so maybe they'll adapt some of the .5's as well? I'm still praying for Lerche to go all out with vol 7

Also was todays ep outsourced? I forgot to check the credits but considering how there were still some minor issues with the animations and art, I figured it might have been.

it was really junky around the mid part after that it was dope. Enjoyed every secound of the episode

I enjoyed the episode except for the parts with kushida acting rather entitled and that she has to be the center of attention always. cant wait for the rest of the manga to be animated to be able to see how this plays out. it was nice to see her backstory but I feel like it was rushed and could have been better

The animation was too weird sometimes. But I think we've got a very good episode. Please studio Lerche don't skip content. The LN is amazing.

Kushida's monologue combined with her backstory carried the episode in other words Yurika Kubo with her performance. Wonderufl.

This episode was one of the best if not the best episodes in terms of quality. It's still average but not distracting like some previous episodes imo. Also loved the second half especially Kushida's past revelation.
Preparing for some Kiyo and Ryuuen confrontation (haven't read the LN up to that point)

I gotta commend Kushida's VA this episode, most of it was Kushida monologuing about her past, and I LOVE how her voice gradually morphed from her façade high pitched voice to the malevolence of her true voice

Man if they put nearly as much effort into the adaptation as they put into Kushida's backstory then this would be kinda good. So far I think Ryuuen and Kushida have been really consistent in how they are in the LN and I hope they keep that up, especially in the next few episodes for Ryuuen.

As a light novel reader who doesn't actually care too much bout animation (my favourite anime is fully cgi haha) I thought this episode was great. I personally thought the way they did kushida's backstory was superior to the light novel even, especially with Shikaco's incredible voice acting. As disappointing as this season has been, I love seeing these certain moments getting adapted. 8/10 Ep

Honestly fail to understand how people are giving this anime 8s 9s and 10s.
The animation is pretty god awful most episodes and the adaptation itself leaves a LOT to be desired. Genuinely the only reasons I'm still watching this is because of the voice acting and to remind myself of the main plot points of year 1.
