[Spoilers] Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 - Episode 5 Discussion

Chapter 121 has finally been adapted. It's done. It happened. Hearing Ymir's whimpers, Eren bringing all Eldians in Paths, Eren breaking free from the chains, it all happened. Yuki Kaji went insane during the break-free scene. Hearing Eren say "Subjects of Ymir" has made every single strand of hair in my body stand up. This solidifies it, this is the best season of Attack on Titan in terms of plot.

And the rumbling has blown me away. MAPPA has honestly done such a great job, it's hard to notice the CGI, this time it's not an exaggeration like the previous season. I can't even make MOPPER jokes anymore, it's truly impressive.

I was expecting the Hallucigenia to look like the actual Hallucigenia, red mixed with white or white like the manga suggested, but turns out it's sky blue.

I gotta say when the first episode dropped i wasn't really a fan of the opening, but now after hearing to it after a couple of weeks now it hits hard. It's a vibe

The themes of this episode are definitely better than Hero. If you think about it. Eren is doing the same thing as Erwin. He is the devil this time. The themes are the same, but this episode holds much more importance. Ymir's origin, how the titans came to be, Eren freeing Ymir, all of it are much more important than what we've seen in Hero.

well, the good part is over. Great episode, everything was nailed on the spot. Let's pray for the cringefest to be fixed so this story can have some merit in the end. if the pie scene is in, im out.

The ending, was a good ending and its whats expected. Its fine to have your opinion but dont bash the show when MAPPA animators have poured their hearts into this.

    Why cant you people just enjoy the show for how it is? The ending made sense, if you disagree, you completely dont understand what AOT is about. Sure the ending could've been better but it works in terms of the story and Erens Character. Authors do not have to bow down to anyone when writing their stories, if you dont like it, write one yourself or back off. Maybe YOU should come up with a story thats sold millions and won the hearts of many? Oh wait, you cant so you're bashing Isayama cause the ending didnt suit your taste. FREAKING INSANE episode. THE RUMBLING has come and no one can say they weren't warned.
I don't have much to say regarding this episode apart from how sad Ymir's backstory was and how epic Eren's address to the Subjects of Ymir was. I am probably going to rewatch it again and again. I am SPEECHLESS.
The OST that played as Zeke tried to catch Eren was awesome as well.

Amazing episode, from the insane animation quality to the soundtrack and everything else.
Also shout out to Eren's VA for that bone chilling performance, especially that speech at the end, literal goosebumps.

Sometimes I forget how brutal this show can be. They really showed Grisha decimating those poor children. One thing I like about AoT is how primal everything is. Eren is simply unrelenting, and I love to see it.
