Silent Voice deals with a deeper theme whereas Your Name is supernatural that doesn't reflect reality (the animation in both were top-class tho)

I prefer you name maybe because it has more supernatural elements that I couldn't relate to versus a silent voice that was maybe a little too close to home... but also I liked your name's animation better but they both have their pros and cons so its just up to everyone to make their decision

A Silent Voice all the way! Your Name is a beautiful movie overall but A Silent Voice is much more realistic & delves into sensitive issues which hits hard.
