It feels like this was more akin to a cour than a proper season due to leaving a lot unresolved. However, that is the chaotic nature of Dorohedoro in general. I wish we got more answers on what is going on, but the grotesque mystery of this series is what pulls you in.
Overall, I enjoyed this season. I just wish we had a little more closure or explanation.

I'm really confused and I totally lost the thread of what's going on but my hypothesis is because Aikawa has the most OP power of stealing other people's powers, he's becoming a convoluted mish-mesh of different magic gimmicks like a late stage vampire survivors character, and that's why he has so much going on. Also iirc he's the person that fell in the black sludge of magic before? Making him the titular dorohedoro-man. But that's just a theory.
The only reason this anime is not a 10/10 is because it like keeps getting better and better (even though some of the magic and spirit is lost as the banter of Nikaido and Kaiman is gone) and whenever you have expectations it just delivers. Comparatively, Dorohedoro is so far in its own league we will all be depressed when it does end, nonetheless I am excited to see the finale.
