That game sure was something... I think I would have enjoyed it.

It was so weird to see Marin without her make-up during the first half. And I loved the little embarrassed voice she used during that part <3
Also, it looks like there was at least one toe fetishist in the staff this week :'D

honestly i love the authors dedication of making these mini worlds just for the sake of context for the cosplays + the animators going an extra mile to animate it in their respective styles to make it so immersive, i get way too invested because now i wanna play the game myself

Gojo playing Coffin definitely wasn't like that in the manga, it was only a page or two max. They really cooked there, it was really nicely done. It fucking sent me seeing Gojo playing the horror game with that sweater on.

Most of this episode was a cute Marin expression compilation. They've done such a great job with her.

And yeah, Juju was on screen so it was automatically made even better. Next week should be a fun one if memory serves, this arc is definitely getting a boost from the anime.

I went back and checked!
It definitely was not THAT explicit. Most of the text is overlayed and said something about mother, father yada yada. I didn't pay much attention in the manga...
I still don't get why it has to be an incestual rape scene out of nowhere but alright.
Next week should be great but after that...
We are slowly getting into the part of the manga I kinda disliked... Where they dragged out everything and the release schedule was slow. I don't think we really get there until Season 3 though.

  Yeah I didn't get that either, probably not the best subject to go with. I get that it has the shock value and general repulsiveness but yeah..
  Yeah we're 100% not getting to Haniel until a season 3 even though we get a glimpse of her in the ED this season. I get the feeling that the arc will probably feel a lot better and more compact in anime form. Haniel in the anime is going to look sick.

    ~!My thoughts as well about the compact thing. Not having to wait for months at a time until the story progresses will be huge.
    Honestly excited about it because I hope it might change my opinion on the arc. I was honestly HATING it at points but I saw everyone else in the comments always raving about how good the chapters were lol. All I wanted to see was some actual Marin and Gojo time after they teased us so much but all I got was Haniel cosplay lore.!~

    ~!I personally really liked the final arc, but I always understand when someone says they didn't enjoy parts of it. At that point I think we all thought there would be a lot more Gojo/Marin relationship stuff happening then it just didn't.
    I'm kind of assuming the anime is going to have original content at the end to give the people more of what they wanted. I don't think the author would even oppose it as long as it's done well and Cloverworks has definitely earned the pass there.!~

    The only thing I had a problem with (Beside the pacing) was the missed potential, there was so much shit they teased towards in that arc that wasn't expanded on just to end it on Gojo ending up confessing and Marin freaking out and forgetting about anything else that happened

~!Lmao that's mean but exactly what I was thinking.
The manga really baited me at this point of the story.
First they talk sooo much about confessing, even going so far with the "I will confess at Christmas" part later and then... NOTHING :D Only dozen of cosplay chapters with almost no Marin/Gojo interaction...
But we have to get to season 3 for that to happen... Which I think is highly likely considering they could go for the full adaption with it.
Seeing the actual confession would make me so happy.!~

~!It's actually insane. I 100% believe that they won't add anything to the story, which is what many fans want.
How would they even do that? People expect more than a couple of "btw this happened also in the future" shots.
The closer we get to THE cosplay the more depressed I get while watching because I know what's ahead.
What people wanted was to see their relationship, which we never got and won't get.
I honestly believe that whenever the end happens it will tank the score of the Anime and people will react the same way they did with the Manga.!~

  ~!I can see them add a couple more scenes add the ending of a potential S3 which shows a bit more of the wedding, their daily lives, Nijika. Just a couple minutes MAYBE!
  But to be honest I am not keeping my hopes realistic. I don't really think it will happen - it's more like a dream.
  Other fans want much more elaborated on and I don't think we will ever get to see many things resolved since it would mean the manga continues in anime form, which is super duper rare. Even less likely than just a couple bonus shots.!~

And I don't remember the VN being THAT in depth in the manga it was not that long panel wise. I really enjoyed how they flushed it out here and it honestly REALLY made me want to play (or read) that VN now if it existed hahaha

Bruh, that last episode had me cracking up. The way Marin totally mixed up the drinks Gojo bought was hilarious. She was all nervous and flustered, like “omg what’s gonna happen??” and then… nothing spicy went down. I feel you, Marin

I mean it depends where it leaves off, there is enough for a movie. Its possible S3 will happen but be slower or have added content that wasn't in the manga. I just wonder if they do a S3 how it would play out, from what i remember we are nearing the end.

  Chapter wise it should pretty much work out for exactly one more season (with some bonus content maybe). Too much for a movie alone, not enough for a season and a movie together.

  Do you really think that they'll add a wedding? Or hell even a normal day in their lives?
  At most we'll get the extra chapter animated. Remember how we were shown all the cosplays? All the cosplays in her room that we never got to see?
  If anything I got more depressed after the extra chapter.
  Nothing short of an Anime-only "we'll finish their school-arc" project can fix that.
  When Chitose said that he hopes he's going to see many more cosplays with them I audibly laughed out loud.
  I still remember how Marin turned down the fame of the Haniel cosplay under the explanation to do more fun cosplays. And then we got to see absolutely nothing of that.!~

Maybe it would be better and less time consuming if the confession happened on this arc since things are going toward it instead of dragging until haniel arc, doing that we would get more scenes with marin and gojo on a relationship. And I don't think it would go wrong if that happened in the current arc, with the right development about gojo's feelings, we would be good. But despite that, i'm pretty sure CloverWorks will compensate.
