I'd like to say that this episode was extremely well made and Bind reminded us that they can achieve levels of quality beyond beautifulness. They did that a couple of times during this cour too, I'm overall happy with this cour and had some memorable moments.
We went through the journey of Rudy overcoming his depression and building the foundations for the next seasons/cours.
For this episode again, I think they did it extremely well. Art was 10/10, Music was 10/10, Backgrounds 10/10 absolutely flawless, beautiful display of art.
Episodes like these are the reason we love mushoku tensei, and that's the reason it will be there for all of us for years yet to come.
Keep showing your support to Bind and their workers, because they tried their best to deliver this cour.

The drug from season 1 is back thanks to homie Luke. And Rudy's expression after the night was a rollercoaster by itself when he thought he was abandoned again but actually was not. I was fist-pumping for the majority of the couple's scenes since they were so good.
Overall, a good half season from Mushoku Tensei and I'm going to wait for more relationships, more horny, more action and maybe a turning point to my face

It's going on hiatus because there's no way this show could take on Spy X Family 2, Shield Hero 3, Goblin Slayer II, Mashle 2, plus all the new shows that are expected to be 10/10 (Apothecary Diaries, Frieren, Solo Leveling) that are airing between now and next spring.

Eh. Dunno. Can't say I loved this season ("part", whatever you want to call it). The first episodes were great, but as the university arc started the show kinda lost me. There also was a great episode about Nanahoshi and the last episode is pretty good, but... Not really sure, it feels like the show failed to keep the mood consistent or something? Could be just me forgetting, but I remember the previous parts being more... uh... logical, sequential, coherent, what's the word? Not "pure depression" -> SUDDENLY "haha funny ecchi SOL" -> SUDDENLY "tearjerker hentai". I'm fine with setting up the characters and world building and all that (it was great in s1p1!), but the mood swings here are just ain't it.
The last episode itself's fine. I did like the parallel to the end of the s1p2 and I'm happy for my man, but I still miss Eris/Ruijerd and all the adventuring.
I noticed the choppiness in the flow of the story and the mood as well. The reason for it is that the studio has a lot of ground to cover and they have skipped quite a bit of the details. Those details would have transitioned each mood and everything else much better.
I am an anime only and I recently discovered AniNews on YouTube that highlights all the skipped content in a very interesting and wholesome way. If you care to improve your MT experience, I highly recommend checking it out. I am even considering watching over season 1 to and then watch the skipped content for each episode as I go along.

This point of Mushoku Tensei just came into my life right around the right time. Rudeus dealt with so much of what I was going through, and because of that, it really made me fell in love with this story even more.
I can't wait for the next part and I'm excited for what's to come.

well lets be honest everyone, we wouldn't be this happy if it happened to us.like the first season this one was amazing too every episode was fun to watch, and was it just me that shouted in joy when they finally did it?

This First Part of Season 2 is/was a "strong" 3.5/10. (If we compare it with Season 1 - 9.9/10)
The "Volume 7" was kinda ok...even with all the extremely important cut contend...other than that...this season was just...nah...
I didn't watch random isekai series like "Smartphone Isekai" or "Vending Machine Isekai"...but no way that was worst than this. (I'm talking here SPECIFICALLY about Season 2 Part 1 of Mushoku Tensei Anime Adaptation).

It's very frustrating because we have to wait all the way till next year for part two after having a whole season dedicated to his non functioning penis. Not a season 3 but a part two to season 2. It's VERY frustrating.
i think having this whole season / 3 year time in their timeline

In my opinion, Mushoku Tensei doesn't have to take on Spy x Family as they are greatly different; Shield Hero 3 is just.. plain delusional; and Mashle 2 again is a pretty different type of anime from mushoku. I don't think that they're going on a hiatus because they're afraid, but because they genuinely need more time. But yeah, I'm exited to see who'll "win": Timuru or Rudy.
Also, sometimes, it is about coordinating the staff. Some staffs work on different projects.
They introduced nanahoshi, the most interesting part of the season by a mile, and then went back to focus on his limp little wee wee. Yeah this season wasn't it.
