    I can accept Rudeus not knowing Fitz is Sylphie, but him not knowing she's a girl is genuinely bothering me. She both looks and sounds like a girl; the sunglasses in no way hide that fact.

    I agree. At this point in the story they are late teenagers, right? I can get the voice can be something ambiguous when they are kids, but not now...
    And also in this episode that Fitz says that she is staying in the girls dorm should make Rudeus start asking questions and not "well, exceptions exists and that's fine". Even if Rudeus thinks she is a man, why doesn't he thinks that Fitz is lucky to be able to sleep next to the Asura princess?

  What's holding Sylphie from revealing herself to Rudeus?

  As I mentioned in last' week discussion today with my horrible english, Sylphie was the one who introduced the school about Rudeus, she even mentioned her connection with him. She basically revealed that hes important to her.
  I would understand if she didnt reveal her connection to Rudeus it because it could be used to threaten Fits(?)

  It felt like something was left out, similar to why Eris left Rudues (I still havent get a good excuse for why though). I would love to get answers to why, even if someone had to spoil/get into the novel. please help me here

    THESE WILL BE RELATIVELY BIG SPOILERS.
    In the novel a lot of things end up being vary ambiguous as a result of it more closely following Rudeus' mindset, unlike in the anime where we occasionally get other peoples perspectives. I actually thought the anime did a lot more to characterize why Eris left, since the final stretch of their journey to Asura made her feel incompetent, and reminded her that (atleast from her perspective) Rudeus is a kid, even younger than her actually. She decided that she needed to get stronger in order to support him, and so she left to train (she's kinda dumb and doesn't want Rudeus to follow her, so she's very vague in the letter). Much of that wasn't explained until much later, because like I said, it's pretty much always locked into Rudeus' perspective. Anyways, as far as Sylphy goes, she's really just embarrassed and kinda frustrated that Rudeus doesn't recognize her, basically her plans at the moment are to push him into realizing that Sylphy = Fitz rather than just outright telling him.

    Right? I like to think of it as a bit of divine punishment for how he's acted towards women. Maybe a bit harsh of a punishment, but at least now he treats women like people. Hopefully, when and if he can get it cured, he'll be a changed person. I pray to Roxy each day that it will be the case.

      LMFAO RIGHT? he finally is acting like a normal human being. it is still upsetting how much that is his sole motivationin what hedoes those. and this alone makes me feel as though he will return to old self to a greater extent than i would like tbh

        Hey may always be a bit of a pervert, but he has matured a lot on what he chooses to act on and how he chooses to treat others. Perhaps these budding friendships will allow him to obtain what he never had in his previous life, and he'll be able to grow up and learn how to act normally.

  Can't believe Rudeus didn't free Julie so she could go back into slavery or die since she is a child and can't speak human language. What an asshole!

  Just wanted to throw in that I enjoy all the new EDs for (almost?) every episode. This one was lovely, the words flowed like poetry.
