What Studio do you want to pick this up

Cloverworks has been dominating the manga adaptation scene recently, especially last season. Judging from their previous works, they've done a lot with fantasy, magic and cute characters, so they might be a contender for this. However, they don't have a good track record of adapting faithfully, so I would hope this would stick to the source material.

Other than that, I think SHAFT might be a good fit. Since the art style of WHA is extremely distinctive and one of the reasons it is so beloved, they might be one of the best bets. They've done a lot of hand-drawn style anime, and have definitely made a lot of fantasy/magical girl anime, so this definitely might work.

Otherwise, I feel like since WHA is pretty recent and has taken the manga community by storm, it might be a newer or relatively unknown studio that would pick this one up. I just hope it gets a good adaptation!

Would be super cool if it got the Mushoku tensei treatment. That being a new studio being made just to adapt WHA.

  Definitely! The amount of care put into each frame of MT is stupendous, if a new studio did the same for WHA it would be incredible.

Hoping for studio bind, they did AMAZING animation, soft and whimsical it feels like it fits right into the world TBNA has. Their magic effects were stunning too!

I'd love for them to do it, but I think their only project is Mushoku Tensei. I think thats the entire reason they made the studio.

Kinema Citrus (Art style feels a lot like made in Abyss so I think it would a good match)
Ufotable (Although Ufotable make more dark fantasies than they do normal fantasies I think it would still be a good match)
Kyoto Animation (Their combination of cute and serious animations fits so well for this anime)
Studio Lerche (If they animated it as well as they did Hanako-Kun it would certainly be a hit)
Studio C2C (Many similarities with Majo no TabiTabi although I would be worried when it comes to the harder scenes since they don't really have the budget to support it)
A-1 Pictures (Another studio that makes incredible fantasy anime like NnT and SAO)
Studio Bones (They did a seriously good job of mixing in silly/cute chibi and serious animation on BSD and Vanitas)
Studio 8Bit (They are very good at Magic Fantasies anime like we saw with Tensura but after the disaster that was MKNR Tsioku-hen I have been worried about the studio, just hoping it was a one time miss due to extremely low budget)

...Does it matter that much? Unless there's a really, and I mean really, unique art style in the manga... are the subtle differences between each studio/animation team's art styles that important?

...Why is Kinema Citrus so common a choice though...? sigh

I think for this the studio does matter. The style is really unique, and I don't think that pizazz can be captured by an average studio. Also there are way more than subtle differences between top of the top studios. Mappa, WIT, Bind, Shaft, etc. All of them have their own ways of animating. I don't know why Kinema Citrus is so common a choice though. Besides Made in Abyss I don't think they've adapted anything very well.

  I'm more just rhetorically asking that 'cause I don't like how the CGI style in Show by Rock changed between s2 and s3, with a studio shift to Kinema... perhaps the biggest impact a studio change could hope to have on me...

checks my anilist page. It's only been like a month and a half since I've last watched any anime.

But I guess if I had to pick one it has to be -- Studio Trigger. First I have to finish up Cyberpunk Edgerunner; have just a couple of episodes remaining. Then I really want to check out the Promare series as well catch up on some Little Witch Academia movies / specials I may have missed when I watched the original series.
