I seriously hope it is true. The Volumes after the first three are so much better and I'd love to see them get adapted. But the first season was a source material seller, and they made heavy changes compared to the LN, so it would be the same studio?
I feel like a reboot of the first season might be better, overall. And then adapting the other volumes. Even though I really wanna see Nagumo.

As of now, no clue whether Lerche is returning to adapt the sequel or not
also it hasn't been confirmed whether it's a season 2, a year 2 adaptation or even a remake. Though I highly doubt they would remake s1 but if they did then that would be interesting
and yea it would be nice to see Nagumo animated :p

Wouldn't mind an adaptation of the second year, but animes typically either try to increase the sales of the source material or sell Blue Rays, I think. I don't think an adaptation of the second year would do that, but it got a manga adaptation, so who knows?

Not sure if an anime adaptation is a good thing or a bad thing, cuz depending on how it turns out it can create a negative image for this masterpiece, and I would hate that. Also I have no clue how they are gonna adapt Volume 4.5, since it was already in S1 of the anime, which in turn was the probably the dumbest change they made (including the character they switched in THE scene)

But I do hope that the same studio as in Season 1 is gonna adapt the next season, cuz let's be real; the animation was absolutely immaculate and fits the series' style perfectly

Well, it was just the extra chapter of Volume 4.5, that they adapted. They mostly did not adapt anything else, I think. Still it was rather stupid, because I feel like that chapter was a good bonding moment between Kei and Kiyotaka

  True, I heard that the director of the anime rlly liked Horikita and thus switched Kei out for her.
  I'm not really sure if we are even gonna get another season tho, cuz as far as ik was the author of the LN not a big fan of the anime adaptation. Which is probably the reason why we got no sequels over the years even tho the anime did pretty well and the LN is literally the best and most popular one out atm.
  And pls no Year 2 anime before they adapt Year 1

    Classroom of The Elite is really popular in Japan, so it kind of make sense, that it'd get a sequel. The first season was boycotted, so it might be a remake or just a sequel, that adapts the source material correctly. I doubt an adaptation of the 2nd Year.

This cannot be a sequel. It will be a remake most probably. Wasn't the anime that came out in 2017 different from the LNs?

I wouldn't say entirely different from the LN and the story is almost exactly the same but it did change several details which may affect the sequel if it does happen

    So what does this mean?
    This means it's the official twitter for Kinugasa and Tomose to post info about Youjitu ONLY.
    Kinugasa has written way more stuff outside of that LN so calling it his twitter is out. This is series' twitter for info for that series only. You can't just claim that it's the author's twitter because it just isn't.
    I was only calling you out because I didn't know you used google translate. My apologies here but he has a staff page and the least you could do is call his name right. I almost thought you were outright disrespecting the author here and he's someone I like a lot.

A major problem for the first season was that it was boycotted. They would not want another repeat, I assume. Really hope it is a proper adaptation.

Don't know whether I should be sad that it didn't get a remake fixing it's problems or whether I should be happy that the anime will attract more people and more people will be buying the light novels. Either way this'll be a hit or a miss, if they somehow fix the problems and get it back on track, the show has the potential of a masterpiece.

Also I'm glad that they got Shoya Chiba back for Kiyo's voice actor, he did a perfect job with his monotone voice

For LN readers, until what volume do y'all think they'll adapt? If the sequel's 12 episodes again, then it's a bit safe to assume that they'll adapt 3 volumes again. That being volumes 4, 4.5, and 5. I'm honestly fine with this since I think vol 5 ends on a pretty conclusive note.

Though, I also think it's possible that they might skip 4.5 and just adapt like a few seconds of it. But that would mean they would adapt until vol 6, which is a really bad cliffhanger.

They shouldn't skip Volume 4.5. I want them to forget Episode 7 ever existed and add the Nagumo scene. Volume 5 ends on a conclusive note, but Volume 7 is also possible. That would hopefully be 24 episodes.
They adapted 3 Volumes last time, but skipped many scenes and it was boycotted, so I think they will slow down a little.
