I am gonna go with AOT since I haven't watched One Piece
1)World Building -> I have heard One Piece's world-building is the best in the whole industry so I will believe the people who say that. Of course, AOT's world-building is phenomenal as well.
2) Characters -> Manga readers know the development of Eren's character. Besides Eren....... Zeke, Reiner, Armin, Erwin, Grisha, Gabi are all well-written characters. Don't know about One Piece (I saw some Luffy childhood videos on youtube so I bet he is a great character)

I'd say Attack on Titan is better and far more consistent. The complex plot and great storytelling and multi layered well-written main characters such as Eren, Reiner, and Zeke makes the cast having a great amount of depth in its characters. The twists, turns, foreshadowing, reveals and character development are also very amazing.

ngl aot manga art is not very good but the story compensates for it
both of these shows have phenomenal writing and both of the creators are brilliant and almost never fail to amaze the fans. I think they're pretty equal in terms of writing and stuff and at the end of the day it comes down to enjoyment.

i think in terms of characters one piece has a teeny edge over aot but plot defo goes to aot. i think world building is on par,
in gaming terms:
one piece is like a large open world for a mmo while aot is like a smaller but gritty, more complex, story driven sony single player campaign

i prefer shorter anime and although one piece is like the og there are plenty of shonen anime, while something like aot is in a less saturated category, so i have a preference to aot

note: ive only watched around 200 eps of one piece so i think i havent reached the 'good parts' yet, cuz ppl say it gets good at 400 ish episodes

I don’t think you can really compare them. AoT has a deeper and more condensed story. One piece has a much looser plot, that opens into something more complex the further you get into it, this allows for a long running series. I like One piece, but I do think AoT is better do to handling a lot of deeper topics. Though I admire Oda for being able to write such a long grand journey without feeling like it’s being dragged out.
Attack on Titan's anime adaptation was given 100000000000x more care than One Piece's but One Piece's manga blows Attack on Titan out of the water. AoT hits some pretty high peaks but the valleys, especially in the more recent chapters are borderline inexcusable. One Piece's peaks are rarely matched by any other shonen and the valleys are still solid.

Honestly, I agree with this bro. Compared to other characters, Zoro is somewhat bland. (The only genuinely time Zoro showed any emotions of sorts was during the east blue arc) I'm still waiting for his character development so that he can grow more as Sanji did during wci

Also, surprisingly, I have watched some episodes and a movie to two of one piece. I remember back when I was a kid, it used to air on TV just like Dragon Ball. I don' have many memories of it, but I do remember that it was in Hindi dub and the fact that every time I heard the word "Gomu Gomu"(don't even remember what that means), it annoyed me so much!

Comparing Saitama to Eren is lame cause saitama was never meant to be a complex characters, me was meant to be comedic character which he is. Take Non non biyori and Erased, Erased is much more complex compared to Non non biyori but non non biyori is still a better anime
You right about the Saitama comparison I'll give you that but my point still stands about comparing a 1D character to a well-written one because look at Tanjiro, Goku, and Deku all of them are basic written characters which aren't better written than characters like Eren, Reiner, Araragi, and Gintoki. About the Erased and Non Non Biyori comparison, you right how non non biyori is better but the thing is Erased is not that complex other than its time travel aspect and it also fell flat on its ending and the 2nd half of it's show wasn't as good.

its a guantee its better than ones that are simple. In fact, the more
complex a story attempts to become, the more likely it is to have
plot holes and possibly end up looking like a try-hard if done badly.
