It's one of my favorite manga series of all time
so yes, it's quite good actually
It's a solid manga until it reaches the assassination arc. After that it just goes all over the place that some readers don't even know what the fuck they're even reading.

If you want a well-structured story with good character writing, I wouldn’t say it’s good. But if you’re looking for mindless action, then I’d recommend it.

I personally love it.
It's pretty wild, the writer clearly writes for himself and doesn't care about traditional story structures.
It runs the risk of alienating people, and I know for sure the last arc did that to a lot of people, but I loved it too.
The reward is that it's certainly something different, wether you'll like it or not, I can't tell you for sure, but it's certainly worth checking out.
peaks at katana man, unlikable characters and author loves to kill off any you do like. also makima is such a boring villain, very obvious that they were the "hidden bad" and totally lacks buildup and scenes the gun devil got. Also the author clearly has no idea how to make any character fight them because their power is just hilariously op. Given that apparently it's ending very soon i can't think it will have a good satisfying ending (which is apparently a problem with the author reading the reviews for Fire Punch.) Overall pretty mid, would give it a 5, early on its like a 7

Best manga I've ever read. Interesting premise, depression, fantastic execution and paneling, deep lore, depression rich story, fun characters and depression. I highly recommend reading it, Fujimoto is visuals > exposition, so you don't have to worry about reading too much, it's quick and effective.

I’ve heard about this manga a lot and wanted to get into it so I just want to know why it’s so beloved
I really like the MC. He's pretty relatable with the small goals he is set on. Also, compared to most action manga/anime there is a lot of tension in chainsaw man. Almost no one has plot armour which I like. Most of the characters are great as well. The ending was pretty ass though but that's the only downside everything else is great IMO.

chainsaw man is just so raw thats why i like it in my opinion. you should also read dorohedoro cause IMO its crazier than chainsaw man and the visuals are so raw

It’s just a crazy fun read. Characters are well done, antagonists are cool for however long they last, and the plot armor really just decided to sit out for this series.
Also, if you actually pay close attention while you read, the ending will make perfect sense, despite what people will tell you.

It is what it is man, you can't really get mad when Aki and Power's death were stated very early on by the Future Devil. You really think Fujimoto is gonna do a cop out? Because that's going it make it generic and garbage, he keeps his promises lol
