Yong-jin Kwon

Studied computer science and applied mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States. While developing an AI for reading comprehension analysis using brain waves at the Pittsburgh Robotics Institute, he suddenly wondered if it would be possible to create an AI that makes money through stock investment. Then he learned about quants who make astronomical profits with quantified data and AI. With few Korean quants and no information available, he entered Wall Street as a short-term stock options quant after many twists and turns. While observing the ever-evolving quant AI and high-speed systems, he began contributing articles to various media outlets to inform Korea of ​​this global trend. He is currently working as a foreign exchange trading quant at Tower Research Capital, a hedge fund.
