Your Name (kimi no na wa) is a 2016 Japanese movie which got really popular and won awards for beautiful portrayal of romance between two characters Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu. The movie's strong elements is animography, visuals. beautiful and breathtaking artwork; and music by RADWIMPS.
RADWIMPS music rocks in both versions Japanese and English.

Your name is an excellent anime. I'll try to explain why i like this movie and what motivated me to watch this in the first place. Your name is a romance genre movie and since i love romance anime, i gave it a go and wasn't disappointed. Comix Wave and Studio Ghibli are two production companies which knows how to make phenomenal and amazing movies. Comix Wave deserves immense appreciation because their movie The garden of words

Your name's artwork and visuals are breathtaking as i mentioned above. Comix Wave movies have the ability to make you feel as if you are actually experiencing the visuals portrayed. In this movie, i felt like flying and going to different places. The rain scene was beautifully captured and when the meteors fell, i couldn't help but shedd a tear or two. This is a true work of art and won't leave you disappointed.

Characters:
My favorite characters from this movie are the main protagonists. The supporting characters were okay but i didn't feel connected to them.
Mitsuha (my most favourite character from this movie) is a high-school girl who hates her hometown and wants to go to Tokyo for her higher education. She hates her life. Her father is a politician and he keeps criticizing her which makes her appear as a joke to her classmates. Her two friends Katsuhiko and Sayaka encourage her to be optimistic. Mitsuha's sister Yotsuha and grandmother Hitoha are absolute delight to watch and add to the depth and understanding of this fantasy drama.
Taki Tachibana is my second favourite character from Kimi no na wa. He is also a high-schooler and resident of Tokyo. His life becomes complicated when he and Mitsuha mysteriously starts shifting places. This 'twist' in the fantasy drama adds to enjoyment and depth.
When i watched this movie back then in 2016, it was hard for me to understand some things but after watching again, i am able to understand this better. This movie is deep and there are moments of magic realism. It's one of those movies which can be re watched again and again and you won't feel bored at all.
The movie similar to The Garden of words does it's job in the best way of making you feel different sensations. This also made me cry many times and i found it quite relatable (these days i find every song or story relatable so it's no big deal lol).
