    Interesting. Personally, i believe Zenitsu would be the first reason that I'd drop this anime (which I wouldn't, since I'm already almost all the way through the season lol, and I've enjoyed it quite a bit so far). I think Tanjiro is a really good MC with a likeable personality. Nezuko and Shinobu are both precious souls that must be protected at all costs. Out of all of the characters that get frequent screentime in Demon Slayer, I'm suprised that Zenitsu; the annoying crybaby that yells more often than he gets any sort of character development that is meaningful to the storyline as a whole, is your favorite (or at least one of your favorite) character. Sure he was sort of funny in his first 4-5 episodes... but his yelling and crying is borderline annoying and not even funny at this point. I personally feel that he's an easily replaceable character. That's just my opinion about him though. I'd still give this anime a very solid 8.4/10, even with that headache in the anime. Without him, I'd probably even raise the score to somewhere like an 8.5 - 8.7/10. Oh well. Not like I'm trying to change your mind though haha.

  I think if they toned his scenes down a bit he would work but as now it's definitely too much. Not only because his screeching becomes bothersome but also because constantly identifying a character with one single, overbearing, trait gives little room to show believable character development. (in the mind of the viewer he will always be a stereotyped cardboard)

  The mangaka of KnY seems to suffer from this a lot with her characters

  I tolerate him and wait for him to fall asleep. Those unconscious moments redeem him being annoying imo.

  it depends. typically he's someone I can't stand however, he isn't as annoying as he could be? like, I understand why he is the way he is, and that's why he works. though, sometimes they could dial it down a bit.

  I didn't like him in the manga, but he didn't incite genuine loathing there. The anime made him unbearable. Like his shrill screaming alone just makes most of his scenes borderline unwatchable. I think he singlehandedly makes the anime so much worse off for me. There's hardly anything to like about him honestly.

  Zenitsu is probably my fave character in demon slayer lol so yh i like him a lot. Though i can understand people who dislike him.

  4/10 right now (used to think of him as a 1/10 so I'm starting to like him more). Too loud and hyperactive, but is kinda funny with some badass moments.

    It's the other way for me. I used to like him more at first; like a 5/10. He peaked with his breathing lighting techniques that killed those 2 pretty strong demons (with relative ease too). But every other thing about him has been annoying, unbearable, and quite literally a headache. I'd love for him to just shut up for once. One episode is all i ask. Although I'd prefer if he would stop appearing all together. Because of all of this, he's probably a 2/10, only because of those 2 cool moves he pulled.

  If he was toned down just a little bit he'd be fine. I was really annoyed with Inosuke too when they were first introduced as staple characters, but they've seemed to tone him down while still keeping the personality. Hopefully they do that with Zenitsu too
