I was afraid that once they met and started to execute their revenge, it would only lead to further tragedy. But with Sitara acknowledging this likely outcome, I have some hope that they'll be clever about it.
What happened to the Merkit was a tragedy but it also seemed like the result of an old feud where both sides were to blame so it's hard to really side with one or the other. Of course, it's different for Töregene since she ended up trully becoming part of the Merkit people.
That divination looked great. Dayir was right about the future but it's not like you needed special powers to see where this was headed... But this probably helped the Merkit come to terms with it.

Somehow I'm not quite sure if Khulan is going to be yet another character to aid in our gathering of the storm. Surely some of our allies would end up as collateral damage since even as Sitara put it, everyone here is her enemy, and I think that includes Toregane's allies for better or for worse.
