after checking out your watch list and also keeping DewJan recommendations in mind (death note is really a classic btw)
unlike overlord where the main character is kinda pretending to be evil so that he stays in character with the world he's in. Eminence in Shadow main man is doing it for the fun of it and he actually uses multiple personas to do it. its a comedy for the most part.

now this one is definitely not what you're asking for but i think its definitely worth your time, i mean its only 2 episodes so you're not really losing much even if you end up not liking it. but with this one the main character is actually the nicest guy but everyone judges him by how he looks so they think he is a real monster and a true villain in a way lol.

I mean, she literally is a monster lol. Jokes aside, she's a type of character that will do anything to achieve her goals. I'm putting a LN here because the anime is just not as good. I guess you can try watching it if you are really against reading.
