Going by Rago's memories, a group of mononoke infiltrated the same location when he was first awakened from his seal.

The show is starting to pick up. Looking forward to next episode. Although the manga was cancelled i hope they'll continue the anime past the manga.

I don't think so, I mean never say never, but I'd say the probability is rather low. Though who knows, sometimes they release limited manga adaptations of LNs just to advertise the Novels, like they did with Witch and Hound apparently. It might serve to test the waters and gauge the interest in the IP, see if sales go up for the manga and stuff or how the sales for the anime do, then release a sequel to the original manga or something of sorts. Who knows, we'll have to wait and see.

If we think about it watching an axed series in hindsight makes us see what did not work and man does it feel like it even started falling apart before MCs reached their first mission.

This won’t cut it for me, sadly. I was curious about watching an adaptation of an axed manga, but I guess it got axed for a reason (yeah a Keijo!!!!!!!! Fan is saying this lol)

I'm obviously a black torch fan lol ( hence the pfp) but I am really excited for the next episode. I understand why people think it vanilla or boring but I really enjoy it. I feel like each aspect of the story is done well. I really excited to see the next fight and I feel like there's alot of potential there so obvious flaws but I feel like if the story continue either in the anime or manga form I think it could be really great. I sorta wished ichika was use less for fanservice I think her character is interesting considering she trying to rise the ranks of her family name while being a women. There's a lot more they can do with her.
