What I've been enjoying the most after three episodes is that the series never feels like it needs action or spectacular visuals to keep me invested. Instead, it relies almost entirely on its characters and their conversations, and somehow that's more than enough to hold my attention.
Sasaki and Yamada's dynamic just keeps getting better with every episode. Their interactions feel incredibly genuine, and that's probably the biggest reason I'm already so attached to the series. I also appreciate how the story introduces new characters who naturally enrich the experience rather than simply existing in the background.
One example is the manager. I could be completely wrong, but at times she almost feels like the audience's representative within the story. She has the perfect position to quietly witness everything that happens between Sasaki and Yamada, and I found myself wondering if she's reacting to their interactions in much the same way we are as viewers.
I really hope the series continues in this direction, because every small interaction leaves me with a warm, comforting feeling and makes me even more eager to see how these characters' relationship develops.
After only three episodes, I can confidently say this anime has my full attention.
