Solid introduction. I'll be following this one.
Yeah I can tell I'm gonna love this one we have a beautiful protagonist that has specialized as an agent to spy and wear many faces, many disguises, many different personalities, and she decided to break away from her agent life and start a new and try to live as a normal lady but some old habits die hard, right? She still has the habits of being a spy, expecting to be ambushed, distrusting. It's interesting to see how she grows into a more calmer life.
And then we have a very cute, very adorable second protagonist. She was abandoned by her parents who didn't really take care of her so she was forced to grow up, or I guess forced not to have a normal child life. It's kind of heartbreaking to see but hopefully she'll also grow and settle into this peaceful life where she can be a child. She can have fun and smile and show emotion and be expressive. She might end up also learning how to be an agent or at least the basics of it. Maybe not get into the business but she seems to be in a very interesting position of having, I guess, her mother now at this point be an agent and is going to pass down her techniques and the things that she knows about being an agent so she can defend herself. Like the ending said, even a child can benefit from having many faces. Be that face to change personalities or identities, or be that face to learn how to smile and be expressive. I can't wait to see. It had me tearing up a little bit, I'll be honest, because its so cute. Hope Everyone else will love it just as much as I will.
Solid introduction. I'll be following this one.
But she could at least keep the mole .-.
Very good anime adaptation so far. I've read some of the manga like a year or two ago, the story was pretty good, so I'm excited to see more of this show.
Oh this one was nice. It's almost like Spy x Family but also different because the goal is to have a real normal life not a fake one that can't be questioned. It's also nice to have a story from the perspective of a woman spy / assassin rather than a man in this one.
I'm sure I'll love this one. I dunno much about the story but by the description and if it keeps this quality, I'm pretty sure it'll a top tier josei
i was surprised by how good this episode looked. also by the episode count saying 9 but that might be a good sign, like they have made a deliberate decision about how much they are adapting here.
it’s hard to avoid the spy family comparison, but i must say the tone of the two are quite different, with this feeling more sincere and a drama compared to sxf’s wacky hijinks filled comedy. i like the characters, i like the character designs, and i am eager to find out more about victoria.
Not gonna lie, I kind of want Nonna’s mother to show up at some point just so Chloe/Victoria can kick her butt into next Tuesday. I doubt that’ll happen, though, especially given how there are apparently only going to be nine episodes.
Oh, well! I still look forward to what happens from here.
I loved the entire first episode of this anime; it was peaceful, adorable, and pleasant to watch. Since I'm currently reading the light novel, I can tell you that it adapts chapters 1 through 7 of the first volume. As for the manga, it adapts chapters 1 through the beginning of chapter 3!
A great intro episode, well paced with plenty of hints of things to come. Will keep watching. :)
