What having 8 hours of sleep for the first time in years does to a MF
Wow, another chapter this soon. I'm grateful to the art team behind this treating us so. It's good to see Guts back on his feet again.
As for what has happened to him, I don't think he's gained any superpowers or anything over the top. But I'm starting to interpret this as this world Berserk takes place, the supernatural and the physical being one now, in requires a sense of belief, faith, and willpower to be strong. Guts, until this point, put all of his faith in his equipment and training, but never himself. He never really saw himself as special, unique, or even being close to what Griffith had become.
With this understanding and self-enlightenment, I'm starting to feel that he no longer sees a huge rift or abyss between himself and Griffith. The fact that Guts not just wonders but knows he's on the same level as his foe will allow him to finally face him. It wasn't Griffith's power protecting him, it was Guts' lack of faith in himself that was shielding Griffith.
Your thoughts?

I actually dont really get why I saw many people online hating this chapter. It was absolutely well written and again well made by Studio Gaga.
And it's definitely not just a "simple superpower" he gained. There is much more. He now understands that darkness also rely on the light and both work hand in hand together. I think it was kinda necessary for Guts and the way how Miura wrote it, is just well written for me.
it took him 4 years gut is now back.
