Oooh, so Ichi's once mentor Minakata is a magikeeper! Honestly, that might be actually be the thing that keeps Ichi away from them; he's already grown and continues to grow away from Minakata. Whereas with the magikeepers he'll be stuck waiting to fight witches who've done wrong and Ichi is almost certainly not backing away from the world-hater.
