And then the other second half is the first chapter of vol 2, and holy shit they did it again, reversing the order of events for no damn reason. What I am talking about? Well, in the novel and manga, Amelia visits Connie and tells about Cecilia's background BEFORE they resolve Kate being kidnapped, in specific when Randolph comes to ask about more Jackal Paradise's users, she appears before him. They are really ruining the mysteries for an inexistant sense scenes coherence.
Well that's it, every week is wondering how this staff will surprise me with their incompetence despite me understanding their suffering of having to adapt three volumes in a whole season...which could be done if they had brains on their heads.
This ep is the 1st time we've seen Connie being meaningfully sincere when she said Kate doesn't stink. Other than that, all we've seen of her is that she's dumb as bricks, naïve and a pushover. Nothing to do with being sincere or honest.
