Are they skipping some parts in this anime? Feels like it's just random cuts to different scenes, with few sentences and one liners, and everyone glazing the kid for being OP.Pretty cringe lol.No actual plot and just random stuff happening where, somehow, the mc is able to fix everything with no adversity within 2 minutes.
WTF It really felt like the story is skipping way to much and presenting way to many plots at the same time, they should focus more on one thing at a time,and silly old me had high expectations on this anime to far the 7th prince since all those expectations just went out straight to the drain lol.i hoping they fix it in the later episodes.
Yeah from this episode I am certain of one thing is that I am not gonna like this that much, how much I thought I would be. Don't know about others but it is not my taste. Story is not interesting at all for me. Animation is meh-meh, nothing special. Not gonna drop it though.

Yeah sounds like this episode confirmed it. It's a drop for me. There's nothing to look at as everything is just trash. I don't even know what's happening, every event is just being fed to the MC without any explanation or anything. It's like listening to that one friend that can't narrate a story and just say "so anyway that happened, then this, oh also there was this and in the end eveyone was happy". Even the interactions make no sense.

Wasn't he all out of money in the last episode? This episode literally made little to no sense; it was like a fever dream of things happening one after the other.
And it kept on getting worse and worse.
It kind of had his charm to it tho. It's like watching a car crash.
Too fast, stiff, and silent. Little music, low volume, only dialogue. It feels like reading a manhwa but with voice-overs added.

I will give it one more episode and as others have said, the pacing is very weird. If I don't drop it, I'll just have it as background noise at the very least.
I'm blaming the author. It's not a coincidence these two adaptations from different studios have the same issues. If it's really the author, then I don't get people who pushed for their adaptations.

I wasn't expecting much but I might have to drop this. So far just poor pacing, random power ups, bland characters, and no stakes introduced.
Two episodes in and I’m out. This is genuinely painful to sit through. They barely even bother animating the fights, and the whole thing feels like nonstop glaze trying to convince you it’s epic without doing any work. The book scene was the last straw, just actual garbage. Dropped.
I'm sure my rating system can do with some work, but from a story standpoint, this is terrible.

captivating at first, but really gets stale when the MC is simply flexing his status as the 13th prince, whoop-de-doo, he's a prodigy with insane potential, suddenly able to master all the skills without as much as being trained. This takes the stereotypical OP MC trope and gives it a hefty dose of BS.
World building: F
We're not being shown the lay of the land, just being told with maps and poorly animated situations. Flood? OK, buy the land because maid was born there. Performance hall with questionable clientele, singer in debt? Buy the joint and give her a salary. Where did the money come from? Was the land he was gifted by the emperor leave him with sufficient leftover after buying the flooded village? Logic be damned.
Characters: D-
_Where do I begin? The MC is a totally unlikable snob, aloof, standoffish personality, too "perfect" for a 6-year-old. Suddenly possessing powers to tame a cursed sword and menacingly dominate any encounter without raising a sweat.
Side characters are merely chosen at random from a list of character tropes. Maid(s) - check. Older prince siblings? - no display of sibling bonds, friendly rivalry? Villains are comically stereotypical and one-dimensional it beggars belief this story was written in 2019._

What character development? Dude was born already knowing what to do before he was potty trained.
I could go on, but I'm sure there are other metrics I can measure that might be worth discussing, but others have already pointed out the rather low production quality. I can't really tell if the seiyuu work is any good as the metrics above likely negated any positives they may have brought to the table. Another response already noted the author of this series has a history of mediocre offerings, and being from Taiwan, has just been incredibly lucky to get their story adapted.
Would have given this the obligatory 3 episodes to capture my attention this season, but am struggling to find anything endearing enough to stick with this.
