Chiba Shigeru as the narrator and Kuno Misaki as Doux are perfect casting. Misaki's voice combined with Doux's nature was just so cute I ended up crying a few times

It's just really wholesome to watch. I almost always smile watching each seconds of this anime.

The demon lord’s number one is Jahi. Jahi… Where have I heard that name before? Maybe if you change the I to a Y. Demons named Jahi know how to climb the ranks among demons.

This anime deserves a much higher score, it's a GEM. It's seriously unbelievable how damn good it is!!

Exceedingly cute so far (well, asides from the dark bits!) - whether it will go 12 episodes will see, but looking forward to more

Went in with low expectations and came out pleasantly surprised! Doux is too pure for this world. Found myself crying over the grandma's backstory.

The way this comes to life animated is actually proving to be far cuter than the manga.

In the first 5 minutes two characters say (and I'm paraphrasing,)

"Doux, is that who I think it is?"

"Yes, my daughter that you know very well."

Dropped.

I read the manga very recently and it did, indeed, give me da diabeetus, especially when Doux's mom is introduced (also, all the Zoroastrianism references in characters' names are funny, I doubt they'll adapt the Heaven arc from the manga but I thought it was neat how the author seems to have a bit more than a surface-level interest in it. Yohu Manah my goat).

Getting a whole song in the first episode was not something I expected, but it gives me Minna no Kimochi vibes so that's a big plus (I've yet to catch up with the rest of the episodes so I dunno if that's an every-episode thing but great if so).

Most importantly, though, I like that the first episode adapted one of my favourite chapters of the manga and even expanded upon the old lady's backstory. Also, Sadie and the scary demon brothers being in the OP together is great (they were my favourite characters). Looking forward to this adaptation pleasantly surprising me further.

Good VA choices all around, also. Ahriman's voice caught me a little off guard, though, because I mainly recognize this VA as the voice of belts from Kamen Rider Saber, lol.
