  Randomly saw this thread so I thought I might as well read the chapter.

  Kind of a weird start to the story. It feels like they really tried to cram lots of stuff into the first chapter to make it interesting but somehow it just felt like jumping around a lot.

  But except that I kinda like the concept. A mage with weird magic is going to the human world to catch bad mages and criminals. I didn't think the jokes were too weak but it also didn't feel too special overall.

  I am interested to see where this is going but I have read better starts to a story.

  I thought this one was really good personally, I like the MC and feel there is a lot of possibilities to explore as the story goes on. Including his backstory which obviously is going to be quite tragic

  I enjoyed it as an introduction to what I hope is a comedy in a similar vein to One Punch Man. I really like these OP characters who just want to live an ordinary life.

  That said, I like that his back story is more involved. Interested to see what other kinds of mages are causing havoc and the other spells in our protag's pockets
