Always happy to see bros helping each other. I think one of the big strengths of this series is how much I believe the comradery between most of the main cast.

I really like Iharu, and his story was kinda relatable. We always have these kind of characters and i always root for them but most don't end up anywhere. I really hope they give him a cool power as well down the line, instead of just being their for emotional support to other characters.
Also have we seen any other member equip a full Kaiju suit, cuz even Narumi doesn't have a full suit

I said this before right? For few episodes it will feel slow and boring (mainly if you love kafka) because what the author did to the manga. Still loved this episode!

Slowing the pacing but also fast it. Making the fan popular character shine while ignoring others. Don't want to show Kaiju 8 much but also not going much with other characters progress.

They dragged the shit out of this episode nvm this whole season feels the same the only decent episode was #4.

Honestly it's less the direction and more the source material they're working with. I read it and it honestly doesn't really get better than where S1 ended ?
I'm just sticking around for the ride and how Prod I.G will improve it. Because there are some areas for improvement they can address without radically changing the story I'd say. Would soften the blow of the finale.

If the fault is in the source material then I cant blame them that much...

Its nice to see the other characters development too, not just the MC, but I wish they also focused on the already strong ones, since they are getting very few screentime

damn they really forced me to watch this mid episode without a resolution? lmao this whole fucking episode could have been 10 minutes long. but nah gotta drag it for 2 episodes i guess. pop off king get more and more mid each episode
