Alicia looked so happy when Clen allowed her to raid Vroko's office. Not so happy when she saw the leather armor, but at least she put it over her clothes instead of wearing only it like in your typical RPG fantasy.

The story is interesting and the fights are decent but the dialog and info dumbs are so badly written. :/

It really bothers me how ugly the attempted style in this show is - the fake film grain, blurring, and drop shadows just look awful every time they show up.
Add to that some really really awful dialogue and bland action and it just creates a really tough show to sit through despite some interesting story elements.

I'm absolutely loving the style of the anime. The way they animated Alicia's sword move was sick and the sfx they keep using during this arc has been reaaaaaally good.
The Lord of the West having a green color scheme to her wings was really cool too, I never realized that was her color scheme. Can't wait to see this next part animated~!

A good episode full of info on the current state of events, the series is holding up quite strong and for me it remains one of the hidden (and underrated) gems of this season, I love the unique style of this anime which despite its limitations tries to blend the scenes well.

I find many of the criticisms really sterile and forced, I can agree that the action can have ups and downs but in general it holds up well, the writing is good as well as the info, but here it also depends on the narrative taste, the dialogues on the other hand are perfectly normal, I don't like the "by anime standards" rhetoric, it's a pretty superficial way of describing them, Each medium has its own standards, which make no sense to compare, basically there is no superior medium since it depends strictly on the subjectivity of the person, Anime dialogues have nothing to envy those of a TV series and vice versa, you just have to understand that you are analyzing two different products, It doesn't seem complex to me to understand.

Well, I'm also the one who's wrong to take these opinions too seriously, in the end they are subjective opinions, unless we're talking about technique there's very little to objectify.

But in the end it's always like this, in the best of cases personal opinions are expressed and passed off as trivial criticism, in the worst of cases they are simply bullshit.
