and the cartoon scene after the ending is also a nice touch, though i wish they used this time to do more stuff in the episode

As a manga reader, I warn that for few episodes it will be boring if you only love Kaiju No 8

I was bored by this episode because Kaiju N8 wasn't in it. It's sad that it's going to continue like this for several episodes.

I am honeslty struggling if I should watch this still because of the manga.
It was so disappointing.. Another interesting show that became mid and got a bad ending..

Yeah, Ive been hearing the talks about the manga, and it kind of turned me off from wanting to continue to watch. I'm not really sure

No 9 taking over the ant kaiju kinda reminded me of the zombie-ant fungus. Pretty cool!
Also, wasn't expecting the OP to go that hard?? especially with the animation! damn.

Mediocre opening song, horrible ending song.
I really don't understand what exactly it is they're trying to do with this anime. Will give it two more episodes but if it continues like this I'm dropping it.

This ep could have been better if it wasn't only ~17 mins of content. Compared to the usual 20 mins for most anime. At least they didn't pad it with 3+ mins of recaps, but still hardly anything happened. Doesn't have to be about Kafka, give us something. e.g. how Gen Narumi fights or where Mina is. Something related to character development

I really didn't expected to see this villain so quickly this season, though I also didn't expected the MC to chicken out so much, hyped to see the rest of the fight, maybe I should start reading the manga after this season end.
