Wow, absolute masterpiece of an episode. We start off with the extremely funny scene with the fake boobs. This scene was humorous and the reactions from all involved were gold. Marin reactions are fantastic. So cute.
The more in-depth look into the cosplay event and scene was nice too. We had something like this in the last season but this one topped in in so many aspects. The amount of effort and time that goes into creating and taking pictures of cosplay cannot be overstated and the episode did a great job in showing how it is. I loved how enthusiastic everyone was.
That brings me to Amane, the star of this episode aside from Marin. His backstory was heartwarming and mostly wholesome expect for that gut wrenching scene with his girlfriend. It did not expect this to be so tastefully done and I really appreciate that. The scene got me teary-eyed and emotional, Marin and Gojo's reactions were along the lines of what I felt. You could hear it his voice and see it in his face that Gojo did not take well to that and it reminded him of his past. Amane is such a great character and one that I want to see more of. His story is one of confidence and I could easily relate to that. Never give up on things simply due to pressure.
The photoshoot scene was fire. Who knew Marin could look so gorgeous and pull off so many looks in just one single episode. She did it fantastically here. I was amused by Gojo's answers to the magazine editor and how he gets so easily flustered by Marin. Marin is still the same amazing girl so he has nothing to worry about.
The unexpected party for Shizuku-tan was so funny. It was so Marin.
The animation was top notch, the movements were so crisp and smooth. At times I felt like some of the scenes were either CG or mo capped. This was absolute cinema and one of my favorite episodes of the entire series.
