The blow lands!!!

Pretty interesting how something that should seem truly horrible can be toned down for better and for worse: on one hand it allows for more interesting and experimental ideas to be presented to younger/ more mainstream audiences, in this case body horror; on the other hand it loses a lot of its original power. Kafka is standing in the middle of a titanic, ungodly creature that is wrapping itself back together and yet it just feels like a typical shonen final fight.

Are these just death throes, or are we getting even more?
