there's very few good adaptations of visual novels because it's such a difficult medium to capture in animation, 100% read the vn to experience the original story in it's intended form, and watch the anime after

School Days VN or anime?
bluffinieJan 9, 20258 replies1.1K viewsI watched this anime a few years ago and honestly I didn’t pay that much attention and it’s been so long I forgot almost everything, and I feel interested to rewatch it lately but I remember someone telling me the visual novel was a lot better and included another character and such. So have anyone tried the VN? Does anyone have any advice, should I rewatch or play the novel? I also don’t know where to find the VN

Don't watch the Anime, just enjoy VN or Eroge "18+ Warning", whichever you prefer. There are School Days, School Days HQ, Summer Days and Cross Days.

A bit late but definitely say the VN for anyone else who wanders into this. The train wreck is much slower and while it's pretty overt I think it hits a bit harder considering the whole point is what if the MC of a romance game actually faces consequences for being an indecisive dork
