We need something, so many things to tie up.
jjk part 2 has to be happening there is no way it just ends like this
We need something, so many things to tie up.
I envy jjk fans, they can enjoy anything atp. I wish it was my case.
Kenjaku came back to life for the bit lol
i've never read a manga that had this hard of a fall off
gege really just said "fuck it i just work here"
Not sure what he Gege would do with a part 2. I guess the big thing is rescuing those kidnapped by America, but this doesn't feel like as a big a thing as the end of Naruto before Shippuden or Tokyo Ghoul before Re. Maybe there will just be something completely new like with Dragon Ball before Z, but I think he's just causally winding things up for an open ending.
ye i feel the same that i dont know what would be the next part if a part 2 were to happen, the ending feels like an ending to an arc not the series with all the explanations at the end it legit feels like sequel bait
I always believed nothing can get a worse ending than GameOfThrones, until I read jjk

Me if the last 4 chapters were all just Yuji's dream and Gege just fucking kills everyone for the hell of it
Low-key I would rather that happen that whatever wet fart of an ending this is. at least that would be entertaining to read
Same, I thought things just went too well for these last 4 chapters. I would actually respect Gege if he really pulls off a dark ending.
i just read 9 chaprers after dropping it...
I don't even know or understand what is happening, but please I want to be free already from this manga. no another parts or else......
this is the hardest comic I've ever read
??
want to be free already from this manga. no another parts or else......
What? You're not reading it anyway, how will sequels affect you
after chapter 261 i dropped it, but read 9 last chapters 2 days ago. how am I not reading it?????? what part yo didn't understand
Oh i thought you said you read 9 chapters and then dropped it. My bad. But anyway, you can opt to just not read it either way, you are completely free to ignore any sequels it may have
It certainly looks like that Gege couldn’t bring himself to write/draw anymore of this manga even if it could’ve been at the levels of the greatest. He also decided to pad out these last chapters with character conclusions rather than focusing on plot lines which is rather odd. I guess he either found them more important or just wanted to make an ending that would satisfy the fans.
I think that gege was forced to end the manga but i am not sure if what i read was true. Still so many things still left open so we definitly need more...
The ending was good, you don't need to explain or show everything
but you can’t say it was the best, I think most people put crazy expectations because of how Gege introduced some really interesting plot points and characters, that made the ending feel even more disappointing when they were left unexplored.
No and i'd never expected a great ending to begin with lol
"Go ahead log off for me" ass ending.
One of the worst endings in a manga I've read. Crazy how much this dropped off. Not reading a sequel if it's happening but I don't think there's been any confirmation of anything of the sort. This was more than enough to prove Gege can't write for shit
y’all are miserable lmao. you want to make everything this story has built up to be meaningless just because it’s edgy.
That's right. I'd rather take a miserable edgy ending over whatever the fuck this actual ending is and I'm not kidding.
Nah, the ending has made it meaningless, there's so many unresolved plot points. It's pretty clear he was serious about getting burnt out of the series and just rushed out the ending. I think it would've been better if he took a break for a year or even longer to finish out the series strong, but it is what it is
I agree that the story could have been written better, but i’m just saying “everyone dying” or “it was just a dream” is the laziest and shittiest conclusion. And anyone who wants that ending are either lying to themselves or are miserably still reading a manga they don’t enjoy anymore.
Yeah I never understood people who legit wanted either of those two endings but I'm pretty sure most of that is just troll/coping. Those two are just as bad as the actual ending
“everyone dying” or “it was just a dream”
that would make such a great "false ending" tbh. like how that horror movie "the ring" did, and it would surely turn out to be an exciting plot twist in the last chapters. However, I also think sukuna killing everyone would still be dumb as fuck in the current scenario but if the circumstances were different and he was in a state to actually nullify everyone rather than just exchanging punches for 10 chapters straight, it would've been much much better. and it would've also aligned with uraume previously saying "sukuna is yet to go all out", like using a heien era technique which no one knew beforehand and then ultimately creating a storyline to explore the heien era and explain its flashbacks
is the laziest and shittiest conclusion
using the power of friendship, everyone just surviving and kind of moving on just like that is also lazy on the same level of killing everyone
it would surely turn out to be an exciting plot twist in the last chapters
Even if it did add some entertainment value as a shock factor it just completely betrays the narrative and the themes of the story.
It probably it could have worked if it was just a life-death experience type thing like we’ve seen throughout the story but only if there were more chapters and we could see the real conclusion of the battle later.
It is a personal preference at the end of the day. Personally I would find it unnecessary but it could’ve gone either way.
if the circumstances were different
A lot of things could have been written differently or even better but Gege couldn’t continue writing the manga anymore.
rather than just exchanging punches for 10 chapters straight
I preferred the gauntlet because it made some interesting side characters show up like Kusakabe and Miguel. It showed the prowess and sheer dominance of Sukuna being the strongest. And some interesting dynamics of Sukuna with other characters like Maki and Higuruma.
"sukuna is yet to go all out”
They were talking about “Furnace”.
like using a heien era technique which no one knew beforehand
That’s just an asspull. Even if it’s explained after the fact.
ultimately creating a storyline to explore the heien era
The story definitely feels incomplete when some mentions of significant events are not shown and questions are left unanswered. Even when there were moments to explore these plot lines, but like I said it is only possible if the story writer wants to make it possible.
using the power of friendship
So you think it was bullshit that Yuji convinced Megumi to live? Friendship is a core component in every shonen. Read other genres if you don’t like this trope of empathy and character development.
kind of moving on
what did you want them to do? We already see the after math of the whole battle and it’s effect on the jujutsu and normal worlds.
also lazy on the same level of killing everyone
I disagree. It was a proper conclusion for the people who read the whole story, even if it was rushed.
bro anything is better than what we got ? i would have rather seen 20 scans of yuji oiled up than this
Try reading the chapter before deciding what you think of it
besides anime I hope Gege won't give us more of jjk
