It was really an incredible anime, I detailed everything in my review, but really an excellent surprise!
And I didn't expect such a good last episode :)
This anime was flawless from start to finish!

I did not like the drama here at the end, but I did enjoy the series overall. We did not need some White Album-ass drama when we could’ve gotten everything naturally with Rin going off to college then getting scouted, or simply going to acting school and auditioning. This finale flirted with derailing things for me.

As a whole, I still consider this my 3rd best anime of the season. It was still steady for 11 weeks, despite fumbling the ending a little. We get our promised conclusion. I still hope we see the green-lighting of more anime adapting more realistic, down to earth, sincere romances. There are manga out there similar to this one where we get to see the sweet, iyashikei, chill, love story. We can do without the contrived bs of this finale, but I still want to see more anime romances like this one.

I was going to give this a 9/10, but it will have to be 8/10 with the rocky landing we got.

I am so sad to see this one go! This was one of my favorite shows this season! Truly a 10/10 masterpiece! The finale had me in tears, grinning so big that my face hurt, and laughing lots! I will forever love this show and it holds such a special place in my heart! <3

Really, this show came out of nowhere, stole my heart, Rin's VA killed me multiple times through heart attack, and then it ended with a frickin marriage ?!
Pseudo Harem deserves to be remembered.

Deserves a higher rating, it was on the level of Horimiya in terms of wholesomeness, if not more.

if only the animation had been better it would definitely been a masterpiece

I never expected such a romcom gem from this season. It had absolutely everything I expect from a romcom. From the kiss to marriage and comedy was also peak. 8.9/10 for me and a new anime in my favorites list.

Loved the premise when I read the manga, and so happy I got to see this animated. Hats off to Rin's VA, who basically had to play... 5 or 6 different characters in 1 and did a god damn good job of it too.

Great ending to a really fun and wholesome anime, I'm really happy that we even got to see their marriage!

Kudos to Rin's VA for doing such an excellent job throughout those 12 episodes :D

It was not hard to predict what would happen in the last few episodes. Things happened that I expected. It's a comfortable anime to watch. I expected better things, some events happened too fast. Towards the end, the pace picked up so much that it felt like they were in too much of a hurry to end it this way.

Another issue is the quality of the adaptation. I think it was an average adaptation. Not very good, not very bad. It's a safe adaptation. The concept of the series, the Pseudo Harem, was completely put on the back burner in the last episodes of the anime. Rin was still acting, but not like in the first episodes.

Of course, when I write like this, it may seem like I didn't like the series. But I liked it, I just didn't like some aspects of it. It could have been better.

I will give it 7.3/10.

I so don't like the ending or rather the superficial drama. The whole "they waited for each other for x years" is just so weird in a modern-day setting, I mean, even if you don't go to the same school or even if you live half a country apart, you can literally see each other and share so much of your day-to-day life thanks to tech that it doesn't even make sense, hell, you can even see each other in person on the weekends or day-offs(trains exist, and the dude can even drive lol), it's just so off to make that the drama and inflate it into "uuu wait for me for X years ill catch up" and don't let me even get into the weird year count there...

It's kinda shame because the drama and the delayed reveals of things like kiss/confession are the only stains on what is otherwise a great romoe. It's still objectively the third best romcom after horimia and tsurezure but I expected more from it.

fwiw seeing someone virtually or just on weekends is very different from being able to see someone all the time (or at least very regularly). Depending on where her acting takes her, she might not even be that close by, and Eiji isn't likely making a lot of money to afford to fly to her or have the time to drive longer distances to see her. I think it's actually more realistic of a scenario for a high school couple, as opposed to them both going to the same college as if nothing has changed. It also adds a level of maturity to their relationship that they're able to still support each other while also not giving up on their dreams and careers.

  It is very different yeah indeed so I guess it could induce some kind of drama for the story. However I don't see how waiting for each others during multiple years is more realist. If you are in love to that point, you can see each others virtually or/and during weekends/holidays, at the very least.
  From my own experience and people around me, people break up or try the long distance relationship, but they don't wait like that (especially since people tend to change a lot during all those years...).

I don't understand why Rin getting an offer from an agency meant they were incapable of ever hanging out / talking. So the ending felt a little off to me. But the show was still really enjoyable. I don't think there was any episode that I didn't look forward to watching.

This felt very off to me as well. It was never explained why this was an issue (in the manga as well). I know the idol industry often have this "no boyfriend" expectation with "scandals" whenever it is found out they have been dating someone in secret. Rin does talk about retiring due to the marriage which would fit that idea, but it still seems weird for me that this should apply for actresses as well.

This was the PERFECT ending I was hoping for! This anime really surprised me because i thought it would only be some fun anime with a bit of romance but I never expected to be such a masterpiece! Every episode was cute af and the end was perfect. I didnt expected the marriage there and I'm really happy that they showed us that timeskip. (but tbh I dont really understand why they had to go seperate ways until he catched up to her in showbiz.)
