Personally the first chapter seemed like something following the guidelines of a political agenda, abortion as the solution, the female detective is more capable than the male one, the first antagonist is a male very reminiscing of the "patriarchy" stereotype, there was no subtlety or nuances and the story seemed more focused on delivering a "message", i started reading it because of the cover and after finishing the first chapter i told myself "Is the writer a westerner?" after checking the author i thought how ridiculous it was that i could guess it with such precision.
And mind you i read western comics, supes etc. but in comparison this one doesn't scratch the narrative quality of the best writers of those ones.
