Very disappointed to see this one go. It had so much potential but it had to be crammed into 33 chapters so SJ could axe it I guess. I'll stay on the lookout for the author and illustrator's next projects though.
Well, that was a lovely way to close out the series. It doesn't specifically say things are completely over, but it focuses on the fact humans in power could only control Gijin like they did by making them seem less than human. Once people recognised the humanity of the Gijin, they responded in kind.
Also, has some of the prettiest art of the entire series
