i'm seeing a lot of nobara copium coming from the last page, and while i do think it would be cool if she returned to strike the finger with her resonance ability i'm just not convinced it could happen..
<br> like gojo was unable to destroy the fingers with a red at the beginning of the series so i just don't know that her nail would be able to penetrate the finger in order to apply the resonance to it...
since i can't see a lot of cases where the cast could do something to this finger that would have it affect sukuna in a meaningful way, and i can't see gege letting sukuna retrieve it to power himself up even further, i'm leaning more towards that finger being suspended deep within yuji's soul or inner domain rather than strung up in a physical location.
though even that leaves me wondering – why would it only come into play now, and not during sukuna's earlier incomplete domain that yuji was caught in? maybe his domain will be restored now rather than incomplete, causing something with the first finger to resonate more?
otherwise i'm wondering if it is in a physical location and gege will just going to have yuji retrieve the finger and consume it for some reason.. perhaps in an attempt to weaken sukuna's connection with megumi's body since his soul could then be split between the two bodies?
honestly this cliffhanger has me scratching my head a lot lmao, there are so many things that could happen, and a lot of them don't seem to make a ton of sense at first, but gege could either supplement that with new information or just call back to an earlier shred of info that i'm overlooking and have any of the potential scenarios make complete sense.
