As a side note I don't get why this series is so like, "sidelined" on here? Never had to make an episode discussion post lol, it's been 6 hours since this dropped... it's a fantastic production for a very compelling delinquent drama/action series
I like the idea that Choji/Shishitoren is pretty much what Sakura thought Furin was like and also what he could've turned into
As to your second point the series does ok? It's like the top show in the recently watched section on Thursdays and Fridays and according to the stats averages around 8000 logins
Man, I can't get over how unapologetically tsundere Sakura is. It's refreshing to see.
And yeah, I have no idea why this isn't more popular. The reddit discussions are doing well though.

Sakura’s fight is the only one you can reasonably argue as power of friendship imo, I would’ve preferred Sakura to lose personally but it doesn’t matter cuz the other 4 including the main fight were bofurin members absolutely manhandling 1v1
I see so many people on different platforms comment on how this anime has nothing to offer than fight scenes and they can't be further from the truth. Kinda crazy what the series has been able to accomplish with its large cast in 10 episodes
Imo it’s a drama about high school boys who grew up in ostracized parts of society (and as a result of which are more welcoming than the average high schooler) with crazy good production value and fights here and there
I feel like a good summary of it is "Despite everything, it's still you". Especially for how togame feels.
(Gonna talk about both episode 9 and 10 since I watched them together.)
Cried a fair bit catching up to this. I really am enjoying this story; Umemiya's analogy of a fistfight being a conversation, and how Sakura didn't understand it after the fact but was able to talk with Togame through their fight was really nice. Sakura's welcome party really drove home the fact that Umemiya knows what he's talking about. He must've came a long way to get to the top, and having everyone support him all the way there is such a sweet thing to witness.
Overall, I really enjoy the story. The stark contrast of ideals between the two clubs and how they got there was nice. Seeing how Umemiya shaped up Bofurin is such a cool story, and I hope that they reveal more about him getting to the top.
The one issue is I cannot see a way for this show to continue. Shishitoren is going to shape up now, and Sakura--despite wanting to--knows fully well that he won't be able to take the top spot at Bofurin. The whole purpose of the show has just taken a halt because all the problems were solved in these two episodes. I hope that they don't just randomly throw in some new drama. The pacing and storytelling has been amazing, so it could be bad writing to just make up some new problem to cause conflict for Sakura and Bofurin.
Regardless, still very excited for this show to continue! It's sad that we're nearing the end of it, but I'll definitely be picking up the manga as soon as this series is over.
