hmmm I liked it but I also think it's Aka's worst manga.
compared to his other series the characters aren't as immediately endearing like Kaguya-sama's, but they also aren't as interesting as Oshi no Ko's or Instant Bullet's, so you just end up with a forgettable cast that the author quickly forces drama with when the series hasn't spent the time to endear you to them like he did with Kaguya-sama.
Kaguya-sama was a smart romcom because it started simple but with a perfect base that the author was able to built off brilliantly to later flesh out the characters and their dramatic situations later down the line. Love Agency kinda gives you a few chapters of comedy then throws the drama at you when you don't even care about the characters. I also think it focuses way too much on the "educational romance" aspect rather than actually crafting interesting dramatic situations.
still the comedy was great and some of the characters like Kon were interesting ^^ it's a good manga but I think mishandled which is weird coming from Kaguya-sama's author
2025 edit: actually, after Oshi no Ko's utterly abysmal ending it might be Aka's worst manga, superseding Love Agency... ugh...

Ohh it definitely couldn't reach Kaguya Sama that's for sure. I think especially the rather uneventful and slow start is what killed it.
Forced drama, maybe, but I think the story needed something like this to become more interesting and finally move forward somewhat. I guess it was all too late though.
Still, I wonder when the decision was made, I feel like the last ~5+ chapters were all pretty interesting it was the part before that dragged a bit in my opinion.
All in all nothing I will cry after for too long, still I thought it was cute and had potential.
Goodbye Kon, you were best girl.
