kinda disappointed tbh, it clearly added a lot but also left so much to be desired. A lot of plot points felt forced and some narrative decisions out of pocket. The whole world of No. 6 could've worked without a giant spirit wasp that lays eggs in brains.
And the ending while being far better than anime, still feels like eating shit. Like why does Nezumi just decide after all that's happened to just leave. He just "Yeah I'ma be travelling". Thanks for the not deserved melo dramatic goodbye at the end.
Honestly i feel like the anime did a better job in the beginning of the story and also some decisions in the end (not the final episode of course). There certainly was some potential but it was all kind of wasted in order to have this one story line with Shion and Nezumi. No. 6 has an expansive world it could have worked with much more narrative's and perspectives, it's a shame.
