This episode is necessary for the build up to Igris.

Also Jeju Island arc is gonna be scary. I think the Arc should get a movie

id rather they not adapt any of the material into a movie. i think they'd cut too much material bc they'd want to do an exciting arc but the arc would be too long for a movie.

    you mean you want season 2 to be longer than 12,13 ep? sounds like you're hoping for too much for a manhwa adaptation. if you haven't read the manhwa, you can read it bc its completed.

i hope they will announce that the first season is going to be continued like we get another 12/13 episodes. Im not talking about 2nd season but i see some people call 2nd cour 2nd season

Not giving this a 24 episode season is akin to killing the buildup they made. The events below are all things exposed by the episodes, which at least 1 will be in the 3rd season. ANNOYING

There isn't enough time for him to go through his job change, the one we saw on epp 10
The Tower that we were teased with that everyone knows he's going to go through for his mother, was shown when he went against cerberus
The fight that he is going to have with Igris, buildup shown for when he killed his brother
And the Jeju island fight with ants that was shown on chapter 1

THATS EXACTLY WHAT IM SAYING??? theres no way this season is 12 eps... so much teasing going on and im gonna be so upset if it just ends right here... bc i feel like theyre also gonna drag on the job change quest a little bit too? for it to take up 2 eps? idk I feel like the ending point is superrrr awkward

You're mistaken if you think foreshadowing something in s1 means it'll shown in s1. Never watched one piece before?
I think there will be enough time for the job change quest and igris within 12ep. There won't be time for the tower or jeju island.

Nothing wrong with it being a build up episode. I haven't read the manwah so it's always good to have episodes like this so you feel the excitement later on.

I know he's just doing his job but persistent greedy people like Ahn are really annoying. I'm glad Jinwoo ripped him off.

I won't go as far as to say SL trash, I generally hate power up fantasy shows but solo leveling somehow does it better than others, especially how things escalate after the job change arc

Dumbest take i have seen, sawano has made ost for 100s of anime and you probaly know 2-3 of them, so would the other lesser known anime are trash and caused wasted ost?

looks like they're gonna end season 1 around where i thought they would. i feel like it's been a really great adaptation and i'd love to see them do more, especially if they get far enough for the stuff in the spoiler

manhwa spoilers for a character introduced halfway through the series i really wanna see beru animated and hear him voiced. he's the cutest little thing

I like it, it's simple episode, but I enjoyed it
I saw somewherez that eps 9-12 were animated by Takahashi I believe (animator in jjk for some scenes). can someone agree or correct me? thanks ^_^ because in 2nd dungeon at the end he killed wolf and it looked similar to jjk, so I wanna know

he says he'll take the job change quest in ep10. ig we will get to igris after all. the last arc will probably be the job change quest. next season if produced might finish jeju island raid since its been hyped by jong-in.

    oh that was a regular contract. it stipulated that they would be paid 3 million won per dungeon raid they attended and included a NDA to not disclose information or they would have to pay 10x (30M) for breaking the contract.
    so you dont mind jinwoo threatening many others into keeping quiet?

I decided to re-read Solo Leveling because of the anime adaptation and I've got to say the anime is kind of a worse experience.

Sung Jinwoo looks like a generic Isekai protagonist and the pacing from manwha to anime didn't translate well either. In general the quality of the animation is less impressive than the quality of the art.

I read some chapters (not a lot). I think he looks pretty generic in both. The art in the manga is better, but I think the animation is also top tier. The problem with this show is that imo the 15-20 first chapters (first 1-4 ish eps) are much better than everything else we’ve seen so far. No idea about the jeju island arc haven’t gotten there and probably will wait for the anime adaptation.

  Dont know how much you read, but yhe series gets really good after the upcoming job change quest, I would sugget to be patient and watch the last 2 eps to come
