The way they handled the talk in japanese was also done in a great way.

I think we're close! After what her, Luke, and Ariel discussed, we're setting up for one hell of a dramatic reveal.
Both her and Rudy really deserve to be happy after all they've gone through, and she sure ain't about to cut off her hair, write a terrible note, and run away from him.

I was surprised they had her voiced like that. She's supposed to hide her voice for the disguise ("Silent Fitz"), it's masculine form Japanese, but her voice sounds too feminine.

Poor Sylphy man. The equivalent of watching the raws before the subs drop... leaving you confused all throughout. very much relatable.
Overall great episode. I honestly really like these lore dump episodes, felt like 5 mins. Excited to see where it all goes from here.

It was so interesting to listen to the discussion, I could have sat there for 2-3x as long listening to that. It'll be curious to see what else Nanahoshi knows, especially with all of this forbidden or powerful knowledge that Orsted may have shared.

Great episode, and great voice acting from both Yumi Uchiyama and Ai Kayano. Both of their reactions felt raw as hell and really heightened the scenes.

Hands down the best episode (so far) in Season 2 for me.
The trasition from japanese to the local language was phenomenal, the huge lore drops made everything much more exciting and the moments full of emotions had me on the edge of my seat. Props to the VAs, amazing job. As an anime only I have really high hopes that the remaining bit of the season will be just as great as what I've seen these past weeks.- MaesterSilvio2 years ago8

You'll see more of him in the second part of the season, but he is more of a comedy relief character at this point in the story. Even in the light novels there isn't enough of him in my opinion. But he is a very-very important character in the lore.

This episode was completely insanity.
Since ep 7 watching Zanoba cry I knew they would nail this episode with the expressiveness. Watching Rudy running while screaming was absolutely terrifying. Sylphiette's Va did her part flawlessly too.
Music was on point too the OST was truly amazing.Can't express how perfect this episode was from the beginning to the end. They gotta stop delivering 5 minute episodes each week because it's fucking torturous having to wait all this time for such a short time :]

Anyone else forget who the girl was until Rudeus had that panic attack or was it just me? That scene was great, the way he was running and screaming was really well done and it was surprising when Sylphie suddenly attacked her out of nowhere. Great stuff

The first episode of the season is called Episode 0, that's why we're calling it episode 10 because "episode 9" is actually the tenth episode of the season.
It also says "Includes Episode 0" in the description.
