havent read the LN but the scene was pretty terrible in both the manga and anime imo
at least the scene in the manga had some depth to it lol, he got mad and yelled and it had emotion and character, the anime was flat and was almost like a casual conversation

That is literally me as well. I have no clue what is the deal with it. Kinda romance but not really. Slice of life, kinda but no. im so confused
If you don't mind light spoilers (I'm reading the manga which doesn't have a lot translated)
Wataru falls in love with Aika and asks her out constantly, but she rejects his advances. For reasons that were briefly explained during this episode and will be explained later Wataru gives up on Aika and decides to just support her from the shadows because he's realized he's made her high school life difficult because of his actions. Since Wataru isn't wasting all of his time on Aika he's spending his time with other girls. Aika of course notices this and she might be seeing him in a new light.
Keep watching the show or read the LN to find out what happens next, unless you want spoilers in that case.
He basically continues to meet and speak to new girls while Aika pretty much falls in love with him
'Big Brother' or not, no one is going to raise at least one eyebrow at this dude showing up just to take 5011 pictures of Aika's little sister? Never mind doing that, why would you then go around showing them off? This show makes my skin want to crawl right off my bones.
yeah in the manga it's still weird but he's given the Big Brother Vibe where he's kind of fatherly around her (in the manga they actually dedicate time to them hanging out), it's still weird but he isn't that creepy, the anime just leaves that behind which paints him in a bad light XD
I guess I'm thankful I didn't read the LN, as this was the best episode so far IMO. The first one was complete garbage, the second one was meh, this one I could actually enjoy

no, i will say this was the better episode of the 3 so far, i mean it wasn't great but it was still decent enough, it's just that it was butchered to high hell from the source

and it's such a good concept too, one that i personally can understand and get behind, shame to see it done dirty

Wow. And with that, the three episode grace rule ends and this garbage fire is dropped. Between the horrendous quality, lack of animation, awful zooms, and elementary school grade script. There's nothing that redeems this back into the watchable score range.
