Rushed
What do you think about the end of this Manhwa? For me it was incredibly rushed, it seemed like the author wanted to end it as soon as possible, honestly worst ending of Manhwa i have ever read.
Rushed
yeah, out of nowhere time travel and boom, roll the credits.
It got axed fr
Overall we all know it should end. Was it rushed? Yes it was, but i dont see myself liking story after author did "nerfs" and other non consistent changes to the story. Author as a whole needs to learn how to write longer stories or never make op character as they dont know how to handle story.
I don't understand what the author actually wanted to achieve with this work.
In my opinion, the author didn't really know what kind of story he wanted to tell, or it was really just that simple "no real goal, just keep going to the OR by eating storyline". After all, the main character had no sympathy points at all, which is why you couldn't truly connect with him, except for the cringe-worthy translator notes.
At the end, there are too many questions left unanswered and the cliffhanger is rarely dumb: "How does the red (baby) dragon get into the real world to rage there."
I think they could have changed the story a bit, so that in the end, Lionhands (The Paladin) wins the fight and absorbs him. Then flashbacks that tell his backstory again, that he had been harmless with his ability until just his family got killed and his child kidnapped. That basically this made him insane and would have made him shed all his humanity and go into his super-predator insanity.
So, that flashbacks make Lionhands (The Paladin) understand his madness more and more, and for the first time she accomplishes something he didn't even try to do, namely to repel the absorbed, and that's precisely what she does with his brain, which appears in her hand, and then she says, "Farewell, Mast... no Father." This, of course, assumes that it was not his son who would have survived for experimentation, but his daughter or Lionhands (The Paladin) was created from the son's experimentation. The author would not have had to explain it further at all, the sentence would have already given the readers enough room for speculation whether this was only meant symbolically or not.
Afterward, the story could have been wonderfully spun on:
I could go on and on, it's a pity that the author didn't think in more directions. Such a character change from anti-hero (villain), suddenly against a heroine (repent, save and understand), could have really given the work a lot of fresh air and also given Kim and his nature more meaning.
But I guess I'm just not made for Korean power fantasies. At the end of the day, it's mostly the same, even the Japanese are thinking much further when they tell OP characters/stories.
On a side note, I have a question: He wished the goddess/AI to reset him to the time when the demon queen was defeated. Thereupon, there were flashbacks about his following battles in the past. However, where did that shadow with all the eyes come from? I somehow didn't understand what exactly he consumed for it, and especially when and how.
Ya I agree. How could they massacred the best eating manhwa.. Without proper explaining. But novel almost ended that same as manhwa :/ With little more detalites. To summarizing, it ends just like the other titles begin. MC is returner and when he was gone on the earth "gates" and monsters from other worlds started appearing :) That he met this baby dragon is a coincidence.
MC: "ah shit, here we go again".
the ending I think was rushed, and felt empty , both emotionally and in the way that it felt like there was nothing left, to do, to feel, to fight, to find . . . which in my opinion doesn't make for an enjoyable ending, but does make for a fitting ending for a character that so unabashedly chased only power
