I welcome back Ouken, I thought he was rather tiring to deal in S1, so now he has a really good chance to redeem himself, heck he already earned some points in this episode.
While on second thought, Bojji and Kage's bit was interesting to show how the relationship can grow, or where they will cross opinions. I don't think Kage's mindset is exactly right, but this show surely has demonstrated that characters are able to notice their own shortcomings.
The wait for S2 will be... something.
It's great we got Ouken back but now we've lost Desha :(

I really enjoyed this spin-off series. Animation was fantastic and there was a great range of side stories.
Waiting for s2 is going to be agonising
yeah, the animation was great, and I liked the side stories too, but the last episode was more like a cliffhanger for me, and I have a ton of questions that went unanswered. but still one of the best anime this season.
Really amazing. I didn't expect for them to go into the next arc here but they did such a great job with it, specially after that Miranjo episode hinting at this. I cannot wait for the next part. I feel like this season is getting some hate for being fun and fillery even though that was its purpose and the animation was as good as the previous season if not better at times.

Strong finale. Adds a new layer of mystery to the Ranking system and more worldbuilding with not only devils but also gods existing in this world. A lot of interesting set up for Season 2 and/or the upcoming movie, I’m excited.

I’m a bit sad that the Despa we know is probably gone now, though. It was pretty savage how he was able to resist the temptation and dismiss the cursed swords (different anime, but they are like the Cursed Sword in Dororo).
