Interesting to see all of Ichika's reflection behind Yagami's expulsion. Looking for answers of what to do now, and having the dimension that the connection between them was very strong. I liked that she stayed at school.
Kiyo and Nanase's cover is very intriguing. So Ayanokouji-sensei manipulated Kiyo into running away to this school?! I still can't believe the talk that the butler committed suicide. I don't remember how old his son was, or if it was said, but I wonder if he could be at this school too. Would Kouenji be the butler's son?! (conspiracy theory)
Very mature Horikita when dealing with Sudou's confession. It was one of the beautiful moments of the series, and how Sudou dealt with rejection.
Incredible as Arisu she is astute in teasing Ishigami. She jokes about the situation and doesn't seem afraid of him.
Negative points, obviously, Ichinose crying once again. The character no longer has values and morals, and has become completely dependent on Kiyotaka, and he will take advantage of this situation. And the most worrying thing, the harem around the protagonist. I didn't like Kushida, out of nowhere, falling in love with Kiyo too. I hope Kinugasa doesn't lose control of his series and that in the next volumes he will show more 3rd year characters, like Kiryuuin, Kiriyama. At the
overall, volume 8 well below the previous ones.

Now Kushida just lost her appeal as a character in the story and now is degraded into a generic fem mc, fck me, why did the author suddenly get drunk on making cote a harem.
Even though im a sucker for harem , i wish y2 kept the harem aspect of the story more subtle and in the sidelines, now its just messing the story
This is why i stopped reading at y2v5 since they randomly get rid of Airi when the .5 vol finally hinted her having some development. I thought the author's writting was going for the worse and i expected right

Yes, man. Volume 5 had everything to be perfect, but what was the use of so much work to expel Kushida, to remain in the class in the end?! It was the climax. It seems that the author is trying to find ways to get the reader's charisma.

Good setup volume, disagree about ichinose and kushida though.
This volume marks the rise after the fall for ichinose and her class for me. I can see them mounting a comeback led by kanzaki and himeno with ichinose getting back on her feet culminating in them beating horikita's class in the end of year exam with kiyo joining them at some point.Kushida stuff i also liked as he's literally the only one who saw her for her real self/persona and didn't really care/mind. They continued to use each other and when all was said and done in the climax of 5, he chose to sacrifice his friend for her so I can def see the turnaround (tho i can see why people don't want it like this).
Stuff with kanzaki and ishigami is interesting as it might be setting him up as the second antagonist of year 2 alongside nagumo. Also really liked them highlighting how Tuskishiro could've expelled kiyo if he really wanted to and the other twists about them monitoring kiyo's development in the school is interesting.
Overall, solid volume with a lot of build up for future events.
