MyAnimeList recently added Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 0 as you can see here, could it be an exception? (taking into account that is canon and some characters could be relevant in the future).

with the release of the first volume of the third year, the question of the importance of volume 0 within the story came up again. already in the volumes of the second year following its release one could see the connections and why it was necessary to be read between volume 8 and volume 9, however the addition in the database was rejected because tokuten (although that's all to say since it's a prequel volume for all intents and purposes) doesn't fit the criteria.
in this first volume of the third year, a character who appeared only in volume zero is explicitly mentioned, hinting at the possibility that they are inside the school.
making this premise, I ask the mods if it is possible to make an exception by adding this volume 0 to the database, since those who skip it risk literally missing out on an important piece of lore and not a minor extra read
I agree, it's obviously one of the most important volume rn
unfortunately they already told me they won't make any exception. I don't want to be controversial at all and I absolutely respect their decision, however, I would certainly have appreciated the request to be analyzed by those who are following the story and can tell how important the volume is.
then again, absolute respect for the mods and the work they do, it is not a criticism this response of mine
