I've seen vague imagery of the bouquet and (spoilers since I don't know how much this reveals or not) ???% mob's design since I've been into the series ever since the first season airing, but since I've stayed anime only I always assumed something just went horribly wrong with the confession itself not this.............. (as much as it hurt to watch I am glad I stayed anime only and got to witness this without knowing what actually happens, bones' care of this series is stellar as always. I look forward to reading the manga as well though, probably a few months after the anime wraps airing).
Many things I enjoyed about this episode have been already stated by others, but I also remain really intrigued by what we've seen Tsubomi's characterization and look forward to seeing where it goes. There's a few other series that attempt this exploration of the internal reflections of one's own popularity and the idea of people liking for what they see/the persona they create from that in their heads vs what said popular person is actually like, but with how much dedication MP100 has to its characters I'm expecting some really interesting things to come of it in following episodes. Also happy it's not just one note 'turns out she's really needlessly mean actually'; again I'd not expect something that trite from this series but still relieved all the same.
