There is literally nothing that will top this all year, this anime is somehow surpassing my fucking expectations holy shieeeeeeeeeeet I don't even know what to say like? BRO? BRO!? From the incredible anime only content added with the war 1000 years ago to the fucking insane music to the ABSOLUTELY FUCKING JAW DROPPING VISUALS and storyboarding and then the SAKUGA!? I literally cannot ask for anything more I'm crying and shitting and pissing bro I can't. Anime of the Year.
Oh ya and the new visuals for the ending, that was awesome! I can't believe we finally get to see what the OG Gotei 13 looked like and I think I have a new Bleach waifu with Shinigami Riruka <3.

I don't know if I would say its anime of the year but this was a great way to finish the first invasion. It is a pretty good episode and I am glad to see some of the extra scenes and the past members of the old Gotei. Even if that isn't much.
But there is some questions if things in the manga won't be changed as things go on. I won't spoil anything but this smells like potential plotholes to come.
Byakuya scene was done really well. It is one of my favorite parts of the final arc but from here on the beginning of the end will start sadly. I will stick around to see some of the highlights but I am not really hopeful for what is to come.

Bleach just delivered back to back episodes of the year. I am honestly amazed with how they’re adapting this. You can feel the passion and care the anime is getting. And here I thought episode 6 couldn’t matched.

I did not think they could top Episode 6 this season, people. They got me good. And I have never been happier to be caught off guard.

The fight between Ichigo and Yhwach was fire, every episode keeps getting better and better.
Although I will say (Manga Spoilers)
I really hope that Byakuya dies this time because his goodbye to Ichigo was very emotional and well done, and I always hated that he survived in the manga which made his "supposed death" scene feel somewhat pointless and unnecessary.

This episode somehow managed to surpass all expectations as if I never even read this part. It was so stunning and everything was more than perfect down to the smallest details. The music and OSTs just made each and every scene so much better. Imo the best bleach episode I have had the privilege to experience. Can't wait for what is to come

It's been a while since any episode had me on the edge of my seat. Everything was perfect, the iconic panel was beautifully adapted, Shiro Sagisu again with a banger, and Pierrot's animation was on point. This is by far the best episode of 2022.
The moods and moments they are creating with this truly are fucking great. Pretty much everything feels like it has the right weight. The only thing I can complain about is lack of clarity in some of the animations. More than above par for sure, but pretty far off peak still.

Yes, but are they going to do this in the format of 13 x 4 or 52 in a stretch? I would freak out if there is a long gap. The wait was already excruciating and after showing this caliber of quality in adaptation; it is going to be even more painful.
it's 12-13 episodes in 4 cours, so yes there will be some wait between cours. A small price to pay for higher quality.
the first person view when ichigo finally escapes is perfection, wasn't expecting that at all
This episode was so good I'm still hyped 7 hours after watching it, but it had the potential to be the best anime episode ever if just Ichigo was a little faster to arrive, after seeing Renji and Rukia badly beaten and Byakuya in his miserable state, if he saw Yamamoto getting killed before his own eyes I think we would again see Vasto Lorde Ichigo then Yhwach would have a lot harder time with him, he would need to use Almighty or just fall back even before he did not
Actually Ichigo won't go Vasto Lorde anymore because his current Bankai has his own mask fused with his Fullbring. So in other words, what you saw here was Ichigo at his full power induced with rage. He's accepted his Hollow side so he doesn't need the mask to power up anymore, it just happens without it

You're right, it is not fair to expect high-quality visuals and presentations while being a weekly anime. I think Studio Pierrot moved most of their incredible staff who worked on Black Clover to work on Bleach after ending the long run a couple of years ago. I hope they have hired more people now that they have the movie in the works too. This way they could at least release 26 episodes in a year and finish the series within a two-year window.
what only 52 oh no. i remember reading somewhere there would be around 100
the manga has a lot of fight scenes that can be animated in like 5 minutes like the past episodes have been 5-6 chapters an episode. I think the 100 came from what people thought
