I'm gonna need an org chart for all these characters. Can't keep track of who's who anymore.

Togashi is definitely making all these different perspectives work. How many do we have now? The police, 3 different mafia groups, personal guards of multiple princes, princes themselves, the spiders, the hunter association, kurapika, etc. Although it is undoubtedly info overload. I'm enjoying how all these competing interest groups are interacting with each other as it provides depth and makes the story actually seem real.
Like what would be one panel of simplified dialogue in another manga is a whole chapter in this. How do yall feel about this approach?
I think it makes the potential for this arc absolutely insane and so if the payoff is as great as it can be it is worth it, but if the payoff falls short, it will be entirely not worth it. For me, it is too convoluted and dialogue-heavy to not build up to something special. As awesome as all this is sometimes simple is better. Sometimes stories become profoundly complex through simplicity, and often authors make things so complex they become unmanageable, but until Togashi fail I will believe in him.
I think it's setting up some interesting stuff with the 4th Prince so I'm excited to see how this plotline plays out
