Poputepipikku 2nd Season Episode 1 Discussion

So we got a whole musical number for the beginning of this episode along with Shouta Aoi doing his own thing from the S2 reveal trailer and the TV special if I'm not mistaken. Okay then, I'm not complaining about that. On the other hand, it's always funny to see Pipimi being supportive of Popuko even though the latter isn't caught up mentally or is just out of whack, like the Eisai Harumasukoi dance for example.

While we have the normal 4-koma segments being animated along with an overarching longer piece, we also get to see the return of Bobunemimimi and a new B-Side segment (that was probably the weirdest one). And of course, the "怒った？怒ってないよ。" joke returns, so we'll probably see some more of the Takeshobo slander running gag soon.
